We're on a mission to restore relationships affected by hearing impairment.
That's why we operate under our 5 pillars of success.
We're a proudly independent hearing clinic, owned by practicing audiologists Jason and Matthew Le Dilly, which means we have the freedom to prescribe devices we truly believe to be the best for each of our clients as part of a holistic hearing health plan. This may include hearing aids, cross-over devices or implantable devices from a range of reputable manufacturers.
Unfortunately most hearing centers today can't say the same - they are owned by large corporations, generally hearing aid manufacturers - which means they have a vested interest in selling their products. Further to this, they build sales incentives for their team members to ensure they perform, which can often mean the unique needs of each client aren't being addressed, rather they are simply being sold a product.
We're committed to providing the highest level of service by employing well-trained and highly experienced audiologists. Audiologists are university Master's degree graduates with extensive, ongoing training in hearing sciences and human communication. Here at Hello Hearing, all of our audiologists hold the Audiology Australia Accredited Audiologist title, which requires us to follow a strict code of ethics outlined by Audiology Australia. With well over a decade of experience in the profession, we have worked alongside Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) surgeons and GPs; many of whom now refer their patients to our clinic exclusively.
The reality is that in Australia, being an audiologist is not a requirement for hearing testing or fitting hearing aids - this means you can often find sales staff or audiometrists providing advice in general hearing clinics. While they mean well, we're convinced that having an expert clinician who knows what they are doing is much more important than simply having a good quality device.
Through industry-leading equipment and external oversight, we're committed to delivering excellent, patient-centred care. We've invested significantly into acquiring the highest quality diagnostic audiology equipment - well above the minimum requirements dictated by the government hearing services program. Further to this, we work with external consultant ENT surgeons who supervise our results and recommendations from our routine hearing tests. This allows us an additional level of quality control and third-party medical expertise, as well as enabling us to provide medicare rebates - a lower out-of-pocket expense for you. Please note, the supervising ENT service does not apply to tests funded by the Government Hearing Services Scheme.
Wherever possible, we'll connect you with the same audiologist to build familiarity, trust and ongoing care. We've intentionally built our team to allow for a level of service where you won't be subject to a revolving door of faces, but instead be seen by the same local clinicians every time.
We offer a wide range of audiology services in line with our commitment to holistic care. When you're experiencing hearing loss, you need more than a hearing aid reseller - you may not require hearing aids at all. As independent audiologists, we enjoy the freedom to provide a full range of audiological services and hearing rehabilitation, based on your unique needs.
