Cindy's Cochlear Implant Switch-on

Share the joy of the moment Cindy had her cochlear implant switched on for the first time.

Cindy lost all hearing in her right ear very suddenly. This caused her great difficulty hearing in background noise and if the speaker was on her right side, she could not hear the conversation at all. Cindy could not identify where sounds were coming from. In addition, she had severe tinnitus (ringing in the ear) as a result of the hearing loss. Cindy decided to have an Advanced Bionics Cochlear Implant (Bionic Ear) to address her difficulties. She has kindly agreed to share the moment the implant was switched-on for the very first time at Hello Hearing.
